Timing is everything when it comes to newborn's, as those first tiny moments pass us by within a blink of an eye. Newborn sessions ideally should be scheduled within the first 5-21 days of a newborn baby, when they are still very sleepy and comfortable in curly 'in-the womb' positions.

The best time to book in is as early as your 20 week scan to ensure I can reserve a session for you, as newborn sessions are limited. I set a firm date once baby arrives. I will photograph older babies, but 5 to 21 days is ideal for the most popular poses, as babies get older they get less flexible. As always the safety and comfort of your baby is my priority and some poses may not be achievable if baby is not happy or comfortable with a certain pose.

The session takes place in my home studio so you can sit back and relax while I capture some treasured memories of your baby, which will last a life time.

I have a large selection of beautiful handcrafted outfits, wraps, baskets, and props. I carefully select the outfits and props to suit your session, ensuring it is tailored to each individual. I not only capture your baby swaddled and in basket set up, but I also include siblings as well as Mum and Dad. I also welcome items that may have sentimental value  and personal to you to be included. Always giving you your very own unique gallery that you will treasure for a lifetime.

My sessions last around 3-4 hours (including set up) although I have no time limit and I always allow time for feeding baby in between shots.
